Refund Policy

Effective date: September 3, 2026

Piperace is free to try for as long as you like — everything that runs on your own machine is free forever, and public sharing has a free allowance. You should know whether the paid plan is worth it before you pay for it. If you paid and it was not, say so and we will refund you.

1. Fourteen days, no reasons required

Write to us within 14 days of a payment and we refund it in full. You do not have to explain why, and we will not try to talk you out of it. This applies to the first payment and to any renewal.

2. After fourteen days

Cancel any time and you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not bill you again after that. We do not refund the remainder of a period by default — but if something on our side broke and that is why you are leaving, write to us anyway. We would rather refund than argue.

3. If the service was down

If an outage on our side made the paid features unusable for a meaningful stretch of your billing period, tell us and we will refund that period or extend it — your choice. You do not need to have opened a ticket at the time.

4. How to cancel

In your dashboard, open Manage billing. That takes you to the billing portal run by Creem, our payment provider, where you can cancel, change your card and download invoices. Cancelling there stops future charges immediately and leaves your current period intact.

Nothing local stops working when a subscription ends. Your sites on .local, traffic inspection and the agent endpoint keep running exactly as before; what returns to the free allowance is public sharing. Your subdomains stay reserved to your account either way.

5. How to ask for a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on the account, or with the order number from your receipt. One line is enough. We aim to answer within two working days, and the money goes back the way it came.

Payments are processed by Creem, who are the merchant of record, so the refund is issued by them and appears on your statement under their name. How long it takes to land is up to your bank — usually a few working days.

6. Please ask us before your bank

A chargeback costs us the payment, a penalty fee and time, and it takes weeks to resolve. A refund takes one email and we do not argue about them. If something is wrong, we would genuinely rather hear it from you.
